Summary: The 3 rated 3-D trail explores colorful canyon bottoms and rims on an enjoyable, picturesque, family 4-wheeling trail.
Location: The trail tours the colorful Hidden Canyon, Lunar Canyon, and Brink Spring north of Highway 313 and west of Hwy 191. The trail head is about 14 miles north of Moab on Highway 191 (about 4 miles north of the intersection with highway 313) near mile marker 141.
The Trail: There is very little challenge along this trail as the road surface includes two-track dirt, sandy wash bottoms, a little slickrock and a few ledges. Some minor obstacles include Airport Hill, the Wall and Mean Hill all of which will benefit from some reduced tire pressure.
The Entrada Sandstone rock formations here are a unique combination of smooth red and white layers. The slickrock areas are composed of the white layer that caps the Entrada. The views of the bold relief from the bottom, middle, and top give this trail its 3-D name. MUST TRAILER
